FREE FAFSA WORKSHOPS

Get FREE professional assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The FAFSA is required for any student seeking federal or state financial aid—including grants and loans—for postsecondary education.

Arts Underground

Every Thursday (starting on September 21st) 6:00-9:00pm

Paramount Center for the Arts, 913 West St. Germain St., St. Cloud, MN 56301

A great way to experiment with a variety of mediums. Staff/volunteers will be there to offer hints and tips in ceramics, handbuilding, painting & drawing, woodturning, and fused & stained glass studios.  All materials are including in ceramics (clay, glazes, firing) and painting & drawing (paints, brushed, paper, pencils).  Fused Glass artists are asked to pay $1 per pedant they make to help with glass expenses.

No registration required.
Adults (21+) - $10
Youth (20 and under) - $5

Pumpkinfest

This event includes trick or treat stations, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and so much more!

New this year: Alan Jackson, Comedy Juggler Extraordinaire will perform at 4:30pm and 6:00pm.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch this comedy juggling act with some surprise circus stunts.

This year will showcase a "Spooky Theme" with Halloween right around the corner. Dress the kids up in their favorite Halloween costumes and get them ready for a day of fun! Filled with exhibitor trick-or-treating, bounce houses, laser tag, Halloween art, and more spooky surprises!

Live United Essay Contest

Share what you do to make a positive impact in your community!

Submissions must: Incorporate the LIVE UNITED theme, be no more than 100 words, youth must be in 5th grade and live within the United Way of Central MN service area, include youth's full name, parent's full name, address, phone number, email, school and teacher.

Prizes: 1st place winner will receive a $200 Visa gift card! 14 runners-up will receive a $75 Visa gift card!

Tech Savvy Introduces STEM Careers to Girls, Grades5-9, at SCSU Saturday, November 4, 2017!


Tech Savvy, a daylong conference for Central Minnesota girls, was initially developed by the AAUW Buffalo NY branch and then supported by the AAUW national organization. AAUW's mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. In 2016, 22 Tech Savvy conferences (including St. Cloud) were sponsored across the country as part of a national initiative to ensure that all middle school girls become aware of STEM careers.
