Date of Hire:
Program Director. Ann oversees the School-Based, Site-Based and Community-Based programs.
Ann graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a double major in Criminology and Sociology. She has held a few positions at BBBS in the past, including: Community-based Case Manager, School-based Coordinator, and the Lead Case Manager.
On the professional side, Ann sits on the Advisory Council for the Mentoring Partnership of MN, and represents the agency on several committees. Personally, she coaches Little League softball, and volunteers with activities her children are involved in.
Proudest BBBS Accomplishment:
Ann has several proudest accomplishments. First, one of our Big Sisters was selected as the National Big Sister of the Year in 2012, and secondly, starting the School-based Mentoring program, back in 2001. Easily our largest program now, it’s allowed us to reach more kids in rural areas that we wouldn’t have been able to normally and allows high school students to mentor in our program.
